Install Google Authenticator from the App Store or Google Play on your phone. Check that the developer is Google / Google LLC.
iPhone / iPad Android
Log in with your university email account.
(Use a computer to log in so you can scan the QR code with your phone.)

Before using VPN for the first time, apply through the Academic Information System for VPN service (activated immediately upon application).
Open Academic Information SystemStudents: enter only your Student ID
@mail.ntou.edu.tw@email.ntou.edu.twUse your university @mail email password.
@email.ntou.edu.tw email passwordUse Google Authenticator on your phone to scan the QR code displayed in the VPN Portal. If no QR code appears on your first login, try another browser.

Authenticator will display:
Sophos SFOS: username @VPN5
The 6-digit code refreshes every 30 seconds.
Start here for future VPN connections
If this icon does not appear, try restarting your computer.
Select the NTOU vpn5.ntou.edu.tw connection.

Wait for Sophos Connect to establish the connection.

Sophos Connect → enter your Student ID + @mail password + 6-digit phone code→ Connect.
